WORKSHOPS:
I'm delighted to announce I will teach four introductory and intermediate painting with encaustics workshops at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Bemis School, June 9 (morning or afternoon introductory classes) or June 23 and 24 (all day workshops). Registration at

CURRENT ART EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:
MAY 2012
First Friday in Anchorage. AKIEA (Alaska Chapter of International Encaustic Artists) will open their spring show, "Meltdown," on May 4th at Doriola's ( 510 W Tudor Rd.), 5:30 - 8p. I'm sending up two new paintings, check them out here, but you know how difficult it is to portray the depth of encaustics, so if you're in Anchorage, I hope you'll stop by to view in person, along with the many other artworks from our fine group of encaustic artists!

I'll show new encaustic paintings at the Attic Gallery in Portland, Oregon, opening with a First Thursday Artists Reception, July 5, 2012. This invitational exhibition will feature encaustic artwork from several artists. More details coming.......
For those of you in Anchorage, you can see my latest paintings year round at Stephan Fine Arts. I will be shipping some new paintings soon and I'm looking forward to an exhibition at Stephan's planned for 2013.
