  Attic Gallery, 206 SW First Avenue (between SW Oak St. and SW Pine St. one block over from the waterfront) Portland, Oregon 97204.  503-228-7830.  The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00am to 5:30 pm.  The Attic Gallery began in Diana Faville's attic in l973 with a showing of Sidonie Caron's paintings. Other artists soon followed and now the gallery is the largest and oldest in Portland representing 65 contemporary artists.  Artist Link

Please keep in mind that Encaustic paintings are extremely difficult to photograph effectively.  The depth and nuances of color and luminosity does not show up well in the images below.  I hope you can stop in to the gallery and see what they really look like, especially the larger pieces as their details do not show well here in 2-D.
