MAY ART EVENTS: 

"Stuff I Found Along The Way," a solo exhibit of assemblages, opening at Virtu on First Friday, May 2nd.  Artist's Reception  from 6 - 9p, with live musical performance by piano songstress, Liz Malys.  Located at 400 West 4th Avenue, Anchorage, (4th and D, around the corner from International Gallery of Contemporary Art). (907) 258 4788.  Show runs through May. 

WORKSHOPS:

"Painting with Encaustics."  I am teaching one day Introductory and Advanced classes on this fun and easy technique of painting with vibrantly colored melted bees wax.  May classes on Sundays, the 4th, 18th, and 25th, 10a - 3p. Please email  if you'd like to register or receive more info.

Virtu Gallery.  400 West 4th Avenue, Anchorage, (907) 258 4788. Anchorage's newest upscale gallery!!!!!  Owners Cari Zawodny, Lori Boltz and Leah Boltz have created a classy and contemporary space for collectors and artists to meet and enjoy!  "Virtu"  Italian for "objects of art with a unique or curious nature."  Currently featuring my figure paintings  paintings and BOYS AND THEIR TOYS series.
